Hi and welcome! I am Jessica, the wife and mom behind the Mak Pack. I am so excited to have you here to follow along with renovating our cookie-cutter home on a budget all while keeping up with my full time gig as being a designer and stay at home mom surviving on Starbucks iced coffee and pinot noir.
I am married to my college sweatheart. We both moved to Arizona in August ’95 and lived our lives since then 3 miles from each other but never met until Junior year of college. It was definitely love at first sight or at least love at first sight once I gave him my theory of football being a game based on war. Hook, line, and sinker 🙂
We have been married since 2011 and have two amazing daughters, our rescue pup, and rescue kitty.
We just purchased a 90’s cookie cutter house in Phoenix. On weekends we are either renovating the house or on a roadtrip. You could call us restless to say the least. Our style is transitional meaning we blend glam with modern and farmhouse. Picture lots of pretty metals, soft fabrics, and trendy colors.
I’m so happy to be able to share my home and DIY projects with you and hopefully help you find a few fun ways to decorate on a budget! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to ask questions or chat with me anytime.
